Celebrating CTIA’s 10-Year Birthday with Alumni Success, Cake, and Money-Filled Balloons
Turning 10 for anyone is a big deal. It’s a milestone, as it’s a time to celebrate the first decade of life. For Chefs Training & Innovation Academy, celebrating 10 years of training and placing students in some of the best restaurants and hotels in the world was just as a big deal for us.
There was only one proper way to mark our 10-year milestone, and that was to celebrate the triumphs of our students with a fun open day at three of our campuses with balloon-filled cash discount prizes and vouchers, and massive cakes inspired by all the latest trends.
You see, we measure our success by the success of our students, and we have so many to be proud of! We have exclusive partnerships with BHMS in Switzerland, OVC in the USA, and the NH Hotel Group in Europe, and our CTIA alumni are reaping the benefits of their training and can be found working in restaurants and hotels (like the NH Grand Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam), and with Michelin-star chefs, like Chef Rikku O’Donnchu, owner and founder of The SYN Group.
At CTIA, we love and enjoy encouraging our students to shine. Offering a top-quality culinary academic platform where aspiring chefs turn into industry-ready professionals, today, Lazy Makoti, a CTIA alumni, has achieved global success as a chef, author, influencer, and entrepreneur, and Kiana Miller, also a CTIA alumni, recently received a job offer from George Calombaris in Australia. Just last week, one of our alumni also met with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) in Tembisa.
As an elite and influential culinary arts academy of excellence, our internationally recognised culinary qualifications ensure that each student gets the best training and is given the opportunity to do a paid internship in Europe, or launch an exciting and lucrative career in South Africa or abroad.
With campuses in Centurion, Durban, Cape Town and Mpumalanga, our footprint is expanding and so are our students’ opportunities.
Not only are we celebrating our 10-year birthday here at CTA – but we are also celebrating the many successful positions our alumni have kept all over the world. This goes to show that you will be making the right decision to join our CTIA family.
Here’s to another 10-years training and placing CTIA students in the best jobs around the world. Cheers!
