What the Course Entails
Students who graduate from this course will receive a Level 2 Diploma in Pâtisserie (8064-02) which is accredited by City & Guilds. It is a 12-month programme of in-depth pâtisserie training that consists of two semesters. In the first semester, students will work through essential kitchen skills, which lay a strong foundation for working in the food preparation industry. Topics in the first semester include modules such as hygiene and food safety, implementing food production processes, various methods of cooking, and much more. The second semester is where students get to explore the exciting world of pastry-making, learning how to make marvellous, mouth-watering pastry products, desserts, and sweet treats.
You Can Study from Home Too
Those who wish to enrol but cannot study full- or part-time can join our E-learning pâtisserie training course which includes the same modules. Our E-learning courses are conducted through an interactive online platform. Students learn through videos, practical learning activities, assignments, and regular online classes. They also have ample contact with lecturers who will ensure they stay on track and feel supported every step of their learning journey.
