The Hospitality Management Programme comprehensively brings together in-depth training, skills and knowledge on the three main front-of-house departments, namely housekeeping, front office, and food-and-beverage. This dual national and international qualification opens up a tremendous variety of career prospects within the hospitality, travel and tourism industries.

Entry requirements

Entrants must have completed Grade 12 or Equivalent.

 

Additionally, entrants are required to have:

  • English proficiency
  • Notebook, PC or Tablet with a stable Internet connection
  • Microsoft Office with a PDF viewer
  • Email account
  • Scanner via printer or cellphone

 

This is a dual accredited programme, with the national qualification issued by CATHSSETA and the international qualification issued by CTH (Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality)

Mode of delivery: On-campus training and workplace integrated learning

 

You will graduate with the following certification:

  • CATHSSETA National Certificate in Food & Beverage Services NQF4 (SAQA ID: 14113)
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Food & Beverage Services (8064-03)
  • CTH Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality Management

 

PLEASE NOTE: All students will need access to a computer or laptop with Microsoft Office Suite and stable internet/data. From Semester 2, students must be able to bring a laptop or notebook to class.
