Pursue Your Global Culinary Dreams with Our International Qualifications
The world can feel like a big place, especially for a young individual just starting their studies. Pursuing international culinary qualifications, however, can make the globe seem a lot smaller, and a lot more accessible. Not only will training in food preparation techniques offer you insight into cuisine from other countries, like France and Italy, but you will have a shot at achieving a certification that allows you to work abroad. As you travel, work, and gain invaluable experience, you will see your career reach new heights.
Is a Career Overseas Right for You?
Many of our CTIA students who study towards international qualifications want to work in the culinary or hospitality industry wherever they find themselves in the world. Working overseas is certainly the best way to accelerate career promotion because you learn new skills and face a range of unique challenges. It makes for agile, flexible chefs who have an extended professional network and return home more confident in their skillset. There is also the travel factor, which allows graduates to see sights and meet interesting people in their field from all over the world.
Placement International
Placement International is a Swiss recruitment company, and CTIA students get preference for worldwide work opportunities through them. The company specialises in the luxury hospitality industry and has 12 offices across the globe. They assist students with paid internships, first-time work, and placement in management training programmes in places like the USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia, and more.
BHMS Culinary Academy
Business Hospitality Management School (BHMS) is located in Lucerne, Switzerland, and is a world leader in its class. CTIA has formed a first-of-its-kind partnership with BHMS that allows students who have completed the QCTO-accredited Occupational Chef Certificate with CTIA to further their studies in this Swiss academy. Here, they can obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts. During this course, students will also undertake a six-month internship, while receiving remuneration in Swiss Francs.
The NH Hotel Group
CTIA has an exclusive agreement with the NH Hotel Group which allows our students who have pursued their international culinary qualifications to apply for a paid internship at one of the NH Hotels. The NH Hotel Group currently has almost 400 hotels across 30 countries all over Europe, Africa, as well as North and South America.
At CTIA, we offer several internationally recognised qualifications accredited by City & Guilds and the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality. If you would like to apply for one of these programmes, please contact our friendly team today.
