The CTIA “How To” Baking Series
If you adore preparing baked goodies and you want to turn that hobby into cash – why not start a small business? From birthday and wedding cakes to healthy muffins and everything in between, delicious desserts sell well when marketed correctly. Our “How To” Baking series is one of our courses aimed at helping home bakers reach new professional heights by equipping them with essential skills that will open countless opportunities.
This nine-week programme offers once-a-week training and includes a CTIA apron, course notes and recipes, online learning support, and a certificate of achievement. We also provide all the necessary ingredients. Over nine weeks, we cover nine topics. You can expect to learn about various pâtisserie techniques and methods, mastering the art of breadmaking, how to decorate cakes, biscuits, and pastries, and all about molecular gastronomy.
Join Our Professional Pastry Programme
Students with a goal of becoming professional pastry chefs will benefit from phenomenal training at a top-tier institution. We offer a 12-month Professional Pastry Programme (including industry placement), and students can choose to study full-time, part-time, or via our E-learning platform online. The programme covers foundational kitchen skills during the first semester, while the second semester focuses on the art of pâtisserie. If you want to learn about making pastries and delightful desserts, hospitality and catering, and implementing food production processes, this course is for you. The programme is accredited by City & Guilds, so students are assured of its credibility and standards. Graduates will receive a Level 2 Diploma in Patisserie (8064-02) certification.
